The only thing really that there is left to do is forgive and forget. I want to forgive you, and I want to forget you. Lauren Conrad (via x3-tiffany)

The Fray - Where The Story Ends

*great song…. fits me sooo good right now….*

It was a sort of innocent love we all longed for. After a series of relationships that got down to the bare naked, hot and dirty, wild and mischievous love making, it was one that needed to be taken slow, caressed gently before rocking the world. It was beautiful and tragic, and nothing could compare. Bare Naked

Not to sound bitter or anything, but I know the fact that we didn’t work out can only mean there’s a better relationship for me out there somewhere :)

A Person/A Paper/A Promise…

Once on a yellow peice of paper with green lines

he wrote a poem

and he called it “chops”

because that was the name of his dog

and thats what it was all about

his teacher gave him an A

and a gold star

and his mother hung it on the kitchen door

and read it to his aunts.

that was the year Father Tracy

took all the kids to the zoo

and he let them sing on the bus

and his little sister was born

with tiny nails and no hair

and his mother and father kissed alot

and the girl around the corner sent him a

Valentine signed with a row of X’s

and he had to ask his father what the X’s meant

and his father always tucked him in bed at night

and was always there to do it

  ———————————————

once on a piece of white paper with blue lines

he wrote a poem

he called it “Autumn”

because that was the name of the season

and that’s what it was all about

and his teacher gave him an A

and asked him to write more clearly

and his mother never hung it on the kitchen door

beause of the new paint

and the kids told him

that Father Tracy smoked cigars

and left butts on the pews

and sometime they would burn holes

that was the year his sister got glasses

with thick lenses and black frames

and the girl around the corner laughed

when he asked her to go see santa claus

and the kids told him why

his mother and father kissed alot

and his father never tucked him in bed at night

and his father got mad

when he cried for him to do it

  ———————————————

once on a paper torn from his notebook

he wrote a poem

and he called it “Innocence: A Question”

because that was the question about his girl

and thats what it was all about

and his professor gave him an A

and a strange steady look

and his mother never hung it on the kitchen door

because he never showed her

that was the year Father Tracy died

and he forgot how the end

of the Apostles’s Creed went

and he caught his sister

making out on the back porch

and his mother and father never kissed

or even talked

and the girl around the corner

wore too much make up

that made him cough when he kissed her

but he kissed her anyway

becuase it was the thing to do

and at 3 am he tucked himself into bed

his father snoring soundly

 ———————————————

that’s why on the back of a brown paper bag

he tried another poem

and he called it “Absolutely Nothing”

because that’s what it was really all about

and he gave himself an A

and a slash on each damned wrist

and he hung it on the bathroom door

because this time he didnt think

he could reach the kitchen…

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, By Stephen Chbosky

Quotes From The Movie “Closer”…

Dan: I fell in love with her, Alice.
Alice: Oh, as if you had no choice? There’s a moment, there’s always a moment, “I can do this, I can give into this, or I can resist it”, and I don’t know when your moment was, but I bet you there was one.

Dan: And you left him, just like that?
Alice: It’s the only way to leave. “I don’t love you anymore. Goodbye.”
Dan: Supposing you do still love them?
Alice: You don’t leave.
Dan: You’ve never left someone you still love?
Alice: Nope.

Dan: This will hurt.

Dan: When I get back, please tell me the truth.
Alice: Why?
Dan: Because I’m addicted to it. Because without it, we’re animals. Trust me.
Alice: I don’t want to lie. I can’t tell the truth. So it’s over.

Alice: Where is this love? I can’t see it, I can’t touch it. I can’t feel it. I can hear it. I can hear some words, but I can’t do anything with your easy words.

 Dan: I’m your stranger. Jump!

‘The Ugly Truth’ Review

I hafta say I absolutely LOVED this movie. I was told it was funny, and its very rare that a movie actually makes me laugh out loud, but this one definately did. The movie stars Gerard Butler (whom I adore) and Kathryn Heigel. I’m not gonna give a full synopsis of the movie cuz you can find it on IMDB.com, but basically its about an uptight, control freak woman (Heigel) who is lookin for the perfect man. She meets Butler’s character who is chauvanistic, rude, crass, and freakin hilarious who claims to tell ‘the ugly truth about men,’ even going as far as saying that if your a fat woman, you need to get on a treadmill. Haha.

You MUST see this movie. It gives an interesting take on a man’s perspective and what he ACTUALLY cares about when it comes to women. Its clever inthe way that ‘He’s Just Not That Into’ was, but much much funnier. Even thr guys I know that’ve watched it couldn’t stop laughing. Its a great movie. I give it 4.5 outta 5 stars. :]

Todays Best ‘Txt From Last Nite’

(937): you got so mad from losing a game of beerpong that you went into another room by yourself and practiced for an hour and a half.

Quote of the day…

Todays best ‘Txt From Last Nite’…

(386): after he passed out we removed everything electronic from his room, stuck in some old books and an ancient typewriter from goodwill. for 20 min. we had him convinced he’d drunk himself backward in time.
